What about Germany? It's the best economy in Europe, amazing culture (but not a culture shock), and most residents speak English so you wouldn't be pressured to learn German too quickly. Its a business language, and there are lots of options of internships there.

Rosetta Stone works for some, and for others it doesn't. It uses the method of how we learn our first languages as babies, by immersing us in it rather than memorization. But since it's so much money, I'd recommend taking courses at a community college or you can use livemocha.com which is the same idea but free. You could even buy some books like 'German for Dummies'. Good luck.

First of all, before leaving college, it would be a good idea to learn how to spell modern English.... i.e. "Florida" and "Spanish", etc.

Going to England would be a "new culture", but not very. Cuba is out, because Castro does not like "business management" -- nor "business" either. How about Mexico, Belize or Argentina?

You really should fine-tune your Spanish, the next language of North America -- well, as far north as Montreal, in any case.

I have no experience with the "Rosetta Stone" program, but I have learned three foreign languages by being there. Try that.

Actually, you can use this as a terrific selling point. Send out flyers to all current and past customers on file about your exciting celebration sale, or just celebration and touch briefly on a couple exciting new changes. Invite them to come on in and meet and greet. Offer light refreshments, that always brings them in. Or offer them a small discount on their next visit, if they ask for you, etc. Treat it as a sort of Grand Re-Opening. Good Luck and God Bless!

Oh okay, I understand now. Sorry, I wasn't trying to push the meet and greet, only didn't realize it wasn't feasible. As far as the flyer goes, you could do a really great flyer with that revolved around a large font statement such as - Under New Management with smaller wording just underneath with something like, Customer Service Is Our #1 Piority!!! Then, somewhere on the flyer have a small note that: We want to start with a clean slate, so call and speak with _____ about any current or previous issues you may have, because we want to know, and we will strive to make sure you never have them again! Then in random slanted wording all over the flyer giving it a fireworks feel, you can put things like Better Customer Service!!! Always Friendly Representatives!!! Lightning Turnaround/Service!!! Attention to Details!!! Quality Workmanship!!! Of course these type things would have to be altered to fit your needs, I am just brainstorming. Actually, I do a lot of work in creating, editing, designing flyers, brochures and forms for various individuals and companies. I found several years ago that I was pretty good at it, and enjoy it. I am very detail-oriented and have never had anyone who didn't rave about the finished product. So your compliment not knowing that was extra nice. Hope the above helps!

If things don't go perfectly, they could sue you. You need government licensing, INSURANCE, various government fees etc. I remember a few years ago someone asked the same question and they figured out they needed at least $50,000 to $100,000 to set it all up, then many millions under management to make a living at it.

I have worked as a real estate broker in Florida for 29 years. I was tired of the same old thing and with the market down so much, I decided to venture out as well. I found a perfect fit for us x-Realtor types. The work requires good people management and leadership skills. It can pay very well. You can do the work from wherever you are. Write to my personal email address to discuss the private details.

Your going to love this!

You my friend are playing with fire and more than that you are risking your friendships and I would think long and hard about that. You must be licenced and you need experience. Do not use friends for such a thing. If you worked for a financial institution and they came to you that would be different but you are going after them and their money...to manage it, and you ask this question to a bunch of strangers? You could end up in court or in jail. Remember Enron? They have millions and they are doing time. Come on get a real job and go into finance if you want but don't use friends. That is just wrong.

Business Law requires a Juris Doctorate - JD degree from a law school and that is 5 years after an AA degree so that is definitely out as a good paying job.

The others will not get you a good paying job with an AA degree regardless of what the school may tell you. They are intended to be a foundation degree so that you can transfer to a university to get your bachelors.

With that said the only possible exception to my above statements maybe Real Estate if the AA allows you to take the Real Estate license exam once you graduate. Generally speaking you do not normally need a AA degree to be a real estate agent all you need is an approved class that will allow you to take the Real Estate exam in your state. So if you are looking for a good paying job Real Estate might be the option but you may pay more for it through the AA route than had you taken the course through an approved provider.

My advice if you are looking for a good paying job with a AA degree then look to health care and in particular nursing. Otherwise I would not look to a AA degree providing a high paying job after graduation and instead would look to the AA degree as a stepping stone to a BA / BSc degree.
