Anyone out there work for the Democratic party in politics?

small business management
DoingIt asked:

After eight years of complete misery under GWB I want to bring up spirits by getting involved with the Obama campaign. Unfortunately, I also need some income. Is it possible to do both - especially if Obama wins? If so, what’s the best path? Unlike most Republicans, I have a college degree and loads of good experience in tech, small business management, and marketing. Thanks so much for any good informed advice.

Please no Republicans or bashing. This is a serious post.

a true socialist would work for free. you don’t need to work for money, the government (and my taxes) will cover it for you.

Since he is not taking tax money, his fund raising is unlimited so he shouldn’t have a problem getting you on the payroll.

Since he’s not taking tax money to finance his campaign, it might be hard finding a paid job for the campaign at this point. His campaign headquarters has been around nearly a year.

They’d probably be the best to contact anyway, particularly if you’re looking for an executive appointment. There’re hundreds of those, but I’d imagine each campaign deals with getting into the pool differently.
