The deal N. Korea wants is almost the same one they had under Clinton. Clinton’s political sanctions, no-fly zones, and aid basically kept N. Korea happy and stopped them from developing weapons. When Bush took over, he basically called off the agreement. Then N. Korea decided to start making weapons. Now, N. Korea has weapons, and Bush wants the same deal they had before to stop them from making new ones.
New Orleans is not threatening the world with nuclear weapons.
Although I think your Mayor is capable of it. He’s the one dragging his feet, blaming everyone else.

Remember, Bush is going to be keeping a close eye on North Korea to make sure they are honoring their non-proliferation agreement. Bush had to pick a commodity he doesn’t mind wasting tax payers’ money on and watching, oil.

moonie is wrong. GWB is not supplying N Korea with nuclear fuel, nuke rods, and a nuke power plant. That is what Carter came up with, and what Clinto approved.
